Purpose of the catalogue
The ENEHI Public Domain Literature Library provides editorial guidance to readers of public-domain poetry. Its purpose is to make historical verse more accessible by offering contextual notes, thematic groupings, and reading recommendations drawn from the works themselves.
Scope and selection
The library contains 95 books, all sourced from Project Gutenberg. Selection focuses on poetry, verse, and related editorial material in English, with an emphasis on works published before 1928. The catalogue does not aim to be exhaustive; it represents a curated subset of available public-domain poetry.
Source attribution
Every book record identifies Project Gutenberg as the publisher and includes the original author and editor names. No works are included without clear provenance. The catalogue adds editorial commentary but does not modify the source texts.
Bibliographic records
Each entry provides the title, author(s), keywords, target-reader description, and a catalogue note. These notes are written by the editor based on examination of the text and are not intended as comprehensive analyses.
Category assignment
Books are grouped into four categories based on thematic and formal resemblance. These categories are editorial constructs; some works could reasonably appear in multiple groups. They are designed as navigation aids, not definitive literary judgments.
Editorial reading context
Each catalogue note reflects a reading of the work, focusing on observable features such as structure, imagery, and voice. Notes are not peer-reviewed and represent the editor's perspective. They aim to inform rather than evaluate.
Edition facts and text measurements

Category guides include three recommended books each. Recommendations are based on thematic affinity and diversity of form. Related works are mentioned only when directly supported by the catalogue context.
Corrections and reader reports
Readers may report errors or suggest improvements via the contact page. The editor reviews such reports but does not guarantee changes. Corrections are made at the editor's discretion.
Public-domain limitations
